Almost three years ago today I started a 365 project "In hope of improving my photography, and pushing myself to be more creative" and it certainly did just that.
I learnt more about my own personal style and love of portraiture, was faced with the joys of creating a variety of photographs, as well as challenges and downfalls of creating work for myself and others. Travelling to new destinations, waking up for more sunrises, and staying up for more editing, I pushed my imagination, drive and love for photography further than I thought was possible.
As I kick off 2017, where I embark on marriage, moving out for the first time, and a second year of full time work, I would also love to continue taking photos and capturing the beautiful moments around us.
And so with a deep breath as I anticipate the immensity of the task, I leave you with a re-creation of my first photo from 2014's 365, as I laid on the floor of my bedroom ignorant to the task that lay ahead of me. But now I am hopefully slightly the wiser, slightly more freckled, and still fantastically naive of the adventures the next 365 days will hold.
