Photoshop is an amazing tool, that is always bigger and more diverse than you could ever imagine. Having taken a more simple portrait on a coffee date with a friend, I decided considering I had time to have a little play on photoshop.
To my surprise I right clicked and my refined edge tool, had disappeared! Good old youtube and adobe forums was a massive help, when I discovered Photoshop CC had done a massive update. Photoshop had become massively more intelligent than I ever imagined!
Don't get me wrong, it definitely pays to take a good photo! To spend the time in reality setting up for a good photo before you even click shutter, but these days with photoshop it essentially means each image is a wet oil painting waiting to be adapted, stripped back and changed, and that in itself becomes an art form.
(This photo took me maybe half an hour to edit, including watching a tutorial. Albeit, not the best editing I have ever done, here's the original to give you an insight into how easy it is to change a photo) + also I totally didn't think the photo needed all the edits, I love Sophia just the way she is, I thought I might just play around.
